Webinar

What platform do you use for your webinars?  

We deliver our webinars through Zoom. If you are new to Zoom, please check out this link for advice on how to set up a free account:  Getting started guide for new users - Zoom Support 

 

Will I be able to ask questions during the webinar? 

Yes, you will. There will be time at the end of the webinar for participants to ask questions. 

  

Will I be visible during the webinar? 

When you join our webinar, you have the option to have your camera turned on or off. At any time during the session, you can also turn your camera on or off. If you choose to not to be seen at all, that is not problem, it's completely up to you. 

 

Can I still ask a question during the webinar without talking? 

Yes, you certainly can. Type your question in the chat during the webinar and we will answer it from there.  

 

Will you provide us with a booklet or some notes from the webinar? 

Every webinar participant will receive a booklet that contains key info from this webinar. This will be emailed to you after the webinar. Feel free to also take notes during the webinar. 

 

Templates

How do I receive the templates package once I buy it?

As soon as your purchase is finalised a window will appear that allows you to directly download the templates. You will also receive an email containing the download link.

 

What if I need some advice on how to use the templates? 

All of our templates come with detailed instructions on how and when to use them, including advice on what leverage you can use if customers are reneging on payment promises. Also, you can email us hello@empoweredcreditcontrol.com.au and we will be more than happy to assist with any additional advice.  Our templates are designed to be very straightforward and user friendly. We have streamlined these templates, so you don't have to decide on which one to use, we do that for you. 

  

Coaching

How does the coaching work?

When you purchase a coaching session, we will be in touch with you within 24 hours to arrange a day and time that suits you for this session to take place. Once we have done that, we will email you a Zoom link for this session. We do it this was because we want to be as flexible as possible with our availability and allow you to fit this session into your busy schedule. 

 

What can I get your advice on during the coaching session?

We can talk about any of your debt collection issues. It's totally up to you. We can give you personalised advice on creating your Debt Collection Strategy for your business especially if you have a high volume of aged debts currently on your ledger. We have had clients who have asked us to go through their aged debt ledger to get advice on how best to proceed with each debt, getting advice on what should be written off or what avenues they can now try to collect the money. We have even had clients who wanted to role play collections calls with us to gain more confidence in speaking to their customers about their debts. 

 

Online Networking

Why do you offer networking?

We are all about empowering Small Business Owners and Freelancers to succeed and we saw a huge need for affordable networking opportunities, so we decided to create them. 

 

How do the networking events work?

Our Networking events are delivered over Zoom on Friday mornings (Sydney Australia time). We start off each session with giving each participant 5 minutes to speak to the group - they can introduce themself, pitch their business and also share their social media handles. After your pitch, we'll open up the floor to allow questions from the group.

Each event is limited to 20 participants so that everybody gets the chance to speak. 

Once everyone has had the opportunity to speak, if time permits, we will have a group discussion on a Small Business-related topic - previous topics have included, 'Is Shopify better than Squarespace?", "What makes a good Instagram Story?

 

Our Refund Policy

As we sell digital products and services, we do not offer refunds unless a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law as set out by the ACCC (Home | ACCC). 

All purchases are final. 

When you have purchased one of our live group Zoom sessions such as our Small Business Debt Collection Training Webinar and our Small Business Online Networking, you must participate at the time they are offered. Your failure to attend a live session for any reason will not entitle you to a refund. If you do not attend for the entire session this also does not entitle you to a refund or partial refund. In the unlikely event that one of our live group Zoom sessions are cancelled by us due to any reason, we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price.

If you purchased our Debt Collection Coaching session you must participate in this session at the mutually agreed time. Your failure to attend this session for any reason will not entitle you to a refund. If you do not attend for the entire session this also does not entitle you to a refund or partial refund.

We do not provide a refund for change of mind purchases. 

We do not provide refunds for our digital products unless required to under Australian Comsumer law. If you encounter a problem when downloading our digital download products and the download fails, please email us at hello@empoweredcreditcontrol.com.au with your proof of purchase within 48 hours of the time you made your purchase. Once we confirm your purchase, we will email you a copy of the digital files you have purchased. Please note that we use a reputable digital download delivery platform and don't anticipate our customers experiencing any issues with their downloads. We want to ensure that you receive the digital products that you have purchased from us and will endeavour to resolve any issues with digital downloads as soon as possible.

About our Debt Collection Strategy

You are based in Australia, does your Debt Collection Strategy work in other countries?

Yes, the process of debt collection is the same across the world.   

 

Will I offend my customers if I mention they haven’t paid me?  

No, you won’t, but you need to approach them in the right way. Keep in mind that there is a right way and a wrong way to do debt collection. Doing it the right way means you are building trust with your customers and they will keep communication lines open with you. A good approach is to treat your customers as you would like to be treated.

 

Isn't it easier to get a Debt Collection Agency to chase my customers for me?

You risk reputational damage when using a Debt Collection Agency because they employ harsh tactics when making contact with your customers. Debt Collection Agencies are driven by getting money from you through fees & commissions and they have no regard for whether you lose customers or get a bad name from their actions. 

There are many tasks we as Small Business Owners can outsource but Debt Collection is not one of them. You need to remain 100% in control of how your customers are treated so that you can strengthen trust in your brand, gaining repeat business & customer referrals.
