Online Networking for Small Business Owners & Freelancers
Online Networking for Small Business Owners & Freelancers
Being a Small business Owner is a lonely business.
There's no workplace banter, nobody to run those new marketing ideas past, well, unless you have a volleyball named Wilson around (we do, by the way, but he's not much of a conversationalist 😀)
Networking is so important to us small business owners; it helps support our mental health and it also allows us to get the word out about what we do.
As a small business that supports small business, we saw a need for affordable networking opportunities, so we decide to create them.
In this session you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and share what your business is all about - give us your business' elevator pitch. If this is a terrifying thought to you, don't worry, we've got your back. This is a friendly and encouraging event.
These sessions are led by our founder, Jillian, who has many years of experience with pitching - as well as being a debt collection whiz, she is also a freelance screenwriter and has pitched her work countless times. It gets easier the more you do it.
Each session also includes a discussion on a small business topic to share knowledge and lift each other up.
When: Last Friday of each month (expect December)
